Dr. Sharcola Vaughn

Dr. Vaughn is a native of Atlanta, Ga. She attended the University of Georgia and graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. Following dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Texas-Houston.

She has gained extensive clinical experience in the private practice setting and has developed specific expertise in providing comprehensive oral care to a diverse medically complex adult and pediatric population. In addition to her formal training, Dr. Vaughn has participated in international outreach experience in Peru, and she remains continued to educating her local community on oral health through wellness fairs and area screenings.

She spends her weekends submerging herself into her most loved passion, football. Outside of that hobby, she may often be found running on trails or traveling throughout the world and the United States.

Dr. Vaughn is excited to meet you and looks forward to serving you and your family.

Dr. Malikah Ready, formerly Dr. Malikah Christie

Dr. Malikah Ready is a native of Roswell, GA, and a graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Chemistry. She went on to complete a Master’s in Medical Sciences followed by a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Medical University of South Carolina. Upon graduating, Dr. Ready completed an optional one-year hospital-based general practice residency at Vidant Medical Center in which she gained extensive training in treating medically complex patients. Through these experiences, Dr. Ready has enjoyed the opportunity to expand her knowledge and skills which she believes to be invaluable when it comes to providing her patients with comprehensive care.

Dr. Ready is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, National Dental Association, and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Outside of the office, Dr. Ready enjoys giving back to her community. She is especially passionate about involvement within the underrepresented minority community and seeks to be an inspirational figure to the younger generation. She also enjoys learning new recipes, exercising, traveling, and spending time with her loved ones. Dr. Ready looks forward to treating your family with care, compassion, and most importantly – a smile.

Dr. Tracie Praylo

Dr. Tracie Praylo Williams is a cosmetic restorative dentist who is passionate about patient care. Dr. Praylo understands dentistry is more than just smiles, it’s about people. Personalized patient experiences in a comfortable environment are what she provides. Whether you are looking to restore neglected dental treatment or select a new provider for your routine dental care, she would love to help you smile bright!
Dr. Praylo earned a Bachelors in Biology from the University of Georgia in Athens, a Masters of Biomedical Science from Barry University in Miami Shores, FL, and in 2013 she obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN.

Dedicated to outstanding dental care, Dr. Praylo has completed hundreds of hours in advanced dental courses in the years since graduation. Among them are courses in orthodontics, placement and restoration of dental implants, and digital smile design.
Dr. Praylo was raised in historic Savannah, GA, and grew up among a large, close-knit family. As such, she enjoys making memories with the people she loves and spends as much time as possible with her husband, daughter, extended family and friends. Outside of work, Dr. Praylo loves concerts and traveling.

Amanda Jones – Office Manager

Amanda Krisell started in the dental field in 2007 as a receptionist. In 2008 Amanda received her Registered Dental Assistant license and was an assistant for procedures such as Laser Assisted Periodontics Therapy, Endodontic, Crown and Bridge, and Oral Surgery. Amanda’s experience with all aspects of a dental office helps her serve you as the Office Manager here at Dental Smiles of Stockbridge.

In her spare time, Amanda spends time with her family, being outdoors, and with friends.

Gallixy Keahey – Hygienist

Gallixy is a Dental Hygienist with over 20 years experience specializing in periodontal therapy. Gallixy graduated from Clayton State University in 1999 with a degree in Health Science and Dental Hygiene.

Although not a native to Georgia she has lived here for over 30 years . Gallixy currently resides in Hampton with her husband and teenage son. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, photography, and spending time with friends.

Lisa Lyons – Hygienist

As a Dental Hygienist with almost 30 years in the Dental Field she graduated from Augusta Technical Institute with a degree in Dental Assisting in 1996. During her career as a Dental Assistant she has worked in orthodontics, pediatrics and front office administration where she became Office Manager. In 2012 she graduated from Medical College of Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. Her top priority is to help each patient achieve optimal oral health. She prides herself on making them feel comfortable during their regular dental visits and designing home care strategies to help maintain their dental health between professional cleanings.
Originally from Thomson Georgia, Lisa moved to the Atlanta area in 2017. She now resides in Locust Grove and in her free time enjoys traveling, being outdoors, spending time with her friends and family, and taking her Black Labrador, named Boo, to the park.

Antionette Skipper – Hygienist

Antoinette, popularly known as “Skip” is a dental hygienist who is committed to making sure that the patient is comfortable and guided on a progressive oral health journey. With Ten years of dental experience, she credits her humble beginnings from Albany State University and Atlanta Technical College. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, traveling, indulging in new experiences, and spending solitude in nature. Skip hopes that her infectious smile will continue to inspire others to take pride in their own.

Dea Weller – Hygienist

I have loved being in Dentistry since my early 20’s as an assistant, front desk, and then as a dental hygienist from the early 80’s. I am really enjoying being a part time hygienist on this wonderful team for the last two years as of January’22!
I enjoy being involved at church, singing in the choir, traveling with my husband to see our 4 children and 7 grandchildren whenever we can. I have practiced dental hygiene in 8 different states and love sightseeing, crafting and gardening!

 Latisha Barkley – Dental Assistant

Latisha or “Tish” as we all call her has been an assistant for almost 20 years. Tish’s interest started while undergoing orthodontic treatment. She pursued her interest and has been an assistant not only with general dentistry but with pediatric dentistry also. Tish enjoys interacting with people and helping them to understand their dental needs as well as focusing on their comfort.

In her spare time, Tish enjoys spending time with her children and furthering her education in pursuit of becoming a Dental Hygienist.

Crystal Dudley – Dental Assistant

Crystal has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She is an expanded function certified dental assistant. She stays current with continuing dental education classes- a commitment she takes seriously to help patients maintain their dental health. Patients appreciate her gentle and compassionate manners. Crystal enjoys cooking and traveling in her free time. Crystal resides in McDonough Georgia with her husband, Fernando and three adult children and two precious grandchildren.

Chyenne Hilton – Insurance/New Patient Coordinator

Chyenne is our front office here at Dental Smiles. She is the first smile you will see when you walk through our door! She was born and raised in Georgia. Before joining the team, she worked with children, youth and children with specials needs. Chyenne is exceptional at what she does because of her positive attitude and enthusiasm for dentistry. She strives for excellence in everything she does. Chyenne has three grown children and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her interests include outdoor activities, going to movies, shopping, and travel.

Laura Ware – Patient Care/ Treatment Plan Coordinator.

Before joining the team, Laura worked as a Medical assistant in a Cardiologist office for 14 years. Laura understands the effects dental health has on your heart and works hard to educate our patients. Her passion is patient care and she enjoys helping others.

Christina Pitts – Patient Care Liaison

Christina’s infectious smile is the first thing you see when you walk through the door. She’s a very generous and altruistic person who loves to be of service to others. She’s a graduate from The Illustrious Florida A&M University, and she strives to be a better version of herself daily. Her introduction to dentistry was as a patient herself so she has a sense of compassion, understanding, and eagerness to help our patients. During her 10 plus year tenure in the dentistry field she has excelled in all front office roles.

She’s originally from Jacksonville beach, Fl and has been in Georgia for 9 years. She enjoys spending time with her son, family, and friends. Her additional hobbies are working out, trying new restaurants (anywhere with live music), traveling, concerts and festivals.

Kelsey Foskey – Billing and Claims Specialist

Kelsey has recently joined our team as our Billing & Claims Specialist. She has over ten years’ experience in administrative roles. Her organizational skills, attention to detail, and compassion for others allow her to excel in this field in a professional and
sincere manner.

Outside of the office, Kelsey can usually be found with her family or with her church family! She enjoys journaling & scrapbooking in her spare time. Most of all, she loves spending time with her husband & three children.
